Our Services

Each engagement below is described as it actually is — administrative coordination and general information work. No regulated advice is offered, no entitlements are assessed, and no institution is contacted on your behalf. If questions of a regulated nature come up during our work together, we collect them and invite you to speak with a suitably qualified professional.

A single folder of sorted documents

One category · One session · RM 500

Starter Sort

A short engagement for a single category of paperwork — most households begin with employment records or membership correspondence. The coordinator meets you once, sorts that category into a clear structure, labels it, notes what appears missing, and writes a one-page summary. It is deliberately small: it lets you see how the work feels before deciding whether to go further.

  • Labelled folder set for that category
  • One-page summary of what was found
  • Gap list noting what appears to be missing
  • A reusable template for your next category

Scope: one category, one 2-hour session

A set of household document folders

Eight weeks · Four sessions · RM 1,720

Household Records Programme

An eight-week programme covering the full set of retirement-adjacent household paperwork at a comfortable pace. Fortnightly sessions each take one area — employment history, membership correspondence, identification and civil documents, property and utility records — and finish it properly rather than half-tidying everything. Between sessions you receive a short written plan and a template.

  • Workbook and template pack for ongoing reference
  • Completed document map of the whole household
  • Family orientation note for shared understanding
  • Open-questions register referred to a qualified professional

Scope: 4 sessions × 2 hours across 8 weeks, one household

Two sets of archive boxes side by side

Five months · Two households · RM 4,650

Two-Generation Archive Programme

A five-month programme for families holding paperwork for both an older parent and the adult children who support them. The coordinator works across both households: inventories each, agrees one shared naming convention, scans and indexes both digital sets onto the family's own storage, rebuilds both physical sets, and writes a single orientation document covering both.

  • Two full inventories with a shared naming convention
  • Digital archive on the family's own storage
  • Two labelled physical sets, rebuilt from scratch
  • Three walkthrough sessions so each household understands the other's arrangement
  • Open-questions register and review calendar

Scope: up to 18 sessions across 20 weeks, two households

Why households come to Nestward

No pressure, no rush

The pace is yours. Sessions are spaced to fit around family commitments, and nothing moves faster than you are comfortable with.

Plain-language summaries

Every engagement closes with a written summary in ordinary language. You keep the summary; it does not depend on us to remain useful.

Whole-family orientation

Where two generations are involved, walkthroughs ensure that adult children understand the parent's arrangement and vice versa.

Clear scope, no overreach

We are explicit about what falls outside administrative work. Regulated questions are noted and referred — not answered speculatively.

Your storage, your data

Digital copies go onto storage you already own. No third-party cloud account is required, and no copies are kept on our side after handover.

A structure that travels with you

The naming convention and folder structure we build together are documented so that any family member — or a future professional — can navigate them without our help.

Common Questions

What exactly does a session look like? +

We sit with you — at your home or a quiet office — and work through one category of documents together. You stay in the room the whole time; nothing is taken away. By the end of the session, that category is sorted into a labelled folder set, a gap list is written, and you have a one-page summary to keep. For larger programmes, subsequent sessions follow the same pattern for each new area.

Do you handle EPF, pension or government claims? +

No. Those are regulated matters. We can help you locate and organise the relevant paperwork so that it is ready when you speak with the appropriate body or a qualified adviser, but we do not contact institutions on your behalf and we do not interpret entitlements. If questions of that nature come up, we note them in a register and invite you to bring them to a professional of your choosing.

How long does the work take overall? +

The Starter Sort takes a single 2-hour session. The Household Records Programme spans eight weeks, with a fortnightly session in each pair of weeks — a pace that most households find comfortable alongside ordinary life. The Two-Generation Archive Programme runs over five months, with sessions scheduled around both households. None of these programmes ask you to do more between sessions than look over a short template.

What if I start with the Starter Sort and want to continue? +

That is the most common path. The Starter Sort is designed to let you experience the work on a small scale. If you would like to continue, we discuss which programme suits your household's situation. The RM 500 paid for the Starter Sort stands on its own and is not credited toward a subsequent programme, as each engagement is scoped and priced independently.

What happens to our documents during the work? +

Original documents remain in your possession throughout. We work with them in your presence, reorganise and label them, and scan copies onto storage you already own. We do not take originals away, and we do not retain copies on our own systems after the programme closes. Any digital files produced during the engagement are transferred to you at handover.

Are the fees all-inclusive? +

The fees listed (RM 500, RM 1,720, RM 4,650) cover all coordinator time, all written outputs, and all templates. They do not cover physical materials such as folders or box files, which we are happy to source and supply at cost if you prefer not to purchase them independently. For households outside Kota Kinabalu, we will discuss any travel arrangement before the engagement begins.

Is this suitable if paperwork is already quite disordered? +

Yes, and it is in fact the situation where this kind of engagement tends to be most useful. Disorder is the starting point, not an obstacle. The Starter Sort is particularly well-suited to households that are not sure what they have or where things are, because the first task is simply to look at everything in one category together and understand what is there.
